Pictures ot the work of instuctors can be seen by going to Instructor's page..

The studio is located in an old building in the southwest corner of the campus, at the northwest corner of the Art Center (400) building. There are three interior rooms, with nine electric wheels (7 Randalls and 2 Soldners), one kick wheel, work benches, a glazing room, sinks in every room (an outside sump to catch the clay), and tables, chairs and stools. In a nearby kiln shed, there is a very large car kiln, and two electric kilns, medium and small. Outside there is a salt kiln, a raku kiln, and a small anagama, as well as a pit in the ground. All of the outside kilns were built by students taking the kiln building classes.

Note: Lots of thngs on this page have changed since 2000.

Linn Briner took these photos of the salt kiln at night, in 2000.
